Introduction.The purpose of the study was to identify, scientifically justify the possibilities of choreography as an effective means of forming and developing the "self-concept" in the modern conditions in accordance with new trends in society on the development of the person's personality, his artistic and aesthetic needs and creativity by means of choreographic art.
Materials and methods. Theoretical - analysis of philosophical, psychological and educational literature of appropriate orientation, theoretical-methodological and methodical literature in the field of choreography, materials and publications on the topic of research, study of advanced psychological and educational experience in the development of the "Self-concept" personality; empirical - observation, individual and group conversations, testing of the technique.
Results. The importance of choreography as an effective means and a promising direction of the diverse development of the "Self-concept" of the personality has been defined. The study found that the theoretic and methodical basis of the formation and development of the "Self-concept" can be successfully performed by various types of choreography, which allow to take into account age, gender, national and social characteristics and have variable and differentiated qualities that contribute to the diverse formation and development of social and cultural identity.
Discussion. It is emphasized that the scientific novelty of the study is determined by the presentation of the use of the possibilities of choreographic art as an effective means of the methodology of the multi-concept formation and development of the "Self-concept" and integration pedagogical processes in the field of choreography in order to achieve self-identification and socialization of the individual in modern society on the basis of a participalist approach.
Conclusion. It is concluded that the use of different types of choreography in order to develop and develop the "Self-concept" of the personality on the basis of the participalist approach and integration of pedagogical processes, especially in childhood, is necessary and promising direction in the context of modern additional education.

The results of the impact of choreography as an effective tool of self-actualization of a child in society in conditions of additional education are analyzed.
